You’ve decided to take the plunge and buy a leopard gecko, but now you need to find somewhere to buy one, and it can be hard to know where to start.
There is an option to search on Google or on classified websites such as Gumtree and Preloved which can be a good starting point for finding people who sell either young or older leopard geckos in your local area, and Morph Market which is a global classified website specifically geared towards captive-bred reptiles.
If you don’t want the long-term commitment of buying a baby leopard gecko (they can live up to 20 years in captivity!) then buying an older gecko from someone on a classified ad could be the option for you. I would not recommend buying from a chain pet store such as Pet Smart, Pets at Home etc.
